Winterfest Snow!

Greetings from Londonderry,
Thank you to so many who have already visited Magic over this Presidents Holiday week! It was a record weekend for us as we were very close to sell-out on Saturday and did sell out on Sunday. Plus, just minimal, if any, lift lines at a couple peak time periods. We were definitely busting at the seams in the lodge, but most every one was very patient and enjoying the more laid-back vibes and fantastic ski conditions here.
We celebrate Winterfest this Saturday and, on cue, winter is about to say "hello!" again with a possible 6-9"+ of snow forecasted Friday afternoon into Saturday morning! Can you say "Powder Day"? Magic is in a good spot for this storm, so let's collectively pray it delivers so we can enjoy another great weekend of skiing and riding all the classic terrain Magic offers. (Save and reduce time at the ticket window by ordering in advance. Remember, if you already have a Magic RFID card, an online ticket sale or Indy reservation automatically loads on to your card so you can go straight to the lift!)

SNOWSPORTS SPOTLIGHT
Our Snowsports Team is putting on the return of the Magic Mountain Freeride Open on Black Line this Saturday. This competition is open to all age groups (kids and adults) who want to showcase their expert-level skills on Black Line. We will crown overall Open Male and Female winners (Season Pass to Magic as the prize for each) plus, there will be winners with other prizes in different younger under 18 age categories. This is a judged IFSA-style event and open to anyone from anywhere (ski/board)! Come have fun and see how you stack up, as we all enjoy the show from the Black Quad lift as well!

BLACK LINE TAVERN
Winterfest is a joyous community celebration with Torchlight Parade, Fireworks, and live band (Bigfoot County) Saturday Night. It also features a Silent Auction to benefit Magic Mountain Ski Patrol from 3-7pm in the lodge, with a family-style buffet dinner at around 6pm (details on the event calendar).
The Lawson's T-BAR is also joining in the fun with DJ JSPIN$ rocking the party there starting at Noon until 3pm. Check out all the Winterfest activities and info here

It's going to be a busy and fun weekend here with our Winterfest Celebration. Our youth snowsports program kids will be wearing costumes on Saturday. Feel free to join in!
