Here at Magic, we believe that it’s always good to keep an open mind, try new things and hone your skills. That’s why we’re offering a wide range of clinics to help you do just that. We tackle learning on and off the slopes in intimate environment with knowledgable and enthusiastic instructors. Alrighty folks, buckle up your boots and strap in for the best darn ski and ride time of your life with the Magic Master’s Program at Magic Mountain! This isn’t just any ol’ Thursday afternoon shindig; it’s a full-on mountain shakedown for all you powder hounds and carving connoisseurs out there! We’re talkin’ 8 glorious weeks of slashing, sliding, and skill-building, starting on the second Thursday in January 2025 (but hey, we’re takin’ a breather on the Thursday after that big ol’ long weekend in February). For just a cool $200 a pop for two hours of mountain mastery or a sweet deal of $1000 for the whole season, you’ll be in the groove with fellow ski and snowboard aficionados. This is where the slopes meet the social scene—like après-ski with a side of progression. Whether you’re looking to get your turns tighter or just wanna high-five your new mountain buddies, this program’s got your name written all over it. The Magic Progression Sessions are here for intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders looking to hone their skills, build confidence, and connect with fellow winter enthusiasts. This two-hour session every Saturday is designed for adults who are ready to carve sharper turns, tackle trickier terrain, and push their limits under the guidance of Magic Mountain’s experienced coaches. Whether you’re polishing your carving technique or fine-tuning your powder runs, this program is the perfect place to level up your game. Join us starting Saturday January 11, 2025 and make every Saturday a step toward your best season yet!

● Who: Intermediate and advanced skiers & snowboarders (ages 16+)

This season we’re bringing back one of Magic’s most popular events—our Women’s Weekend Snowsports Clinic. Designed for women who want to build confidence, improve technique, and connect with the mountain in a fun, supportive environment, these weekends offer the perfect blend of skill development and camaraderie.
Dates
● January 31 – February 1
● February 28 – March 1 (Each weekend offers both beginner and intermediate groups—choose the date that works best for you.)
What to Expect
● On-snow coaching tailored to your ability level
● Indoor sessions led by Dr. Chrissy Semler, LCMHC, CMPC, focused on building mental performance skills for skiing and riding
● A supportive atmosphere where learning happens on the mountain and off, with take-home strategies that apply both in sport and in life
Topics include:
1. How to improve your confidence
2. Self-talk techniques
3. Strategies for managing anxiety on the slopes
Event Details
● Two-day ski/snowboard clinic (beginner & intermediate groups)
● $600 ($500 for season pass holders)
● 9:00am – 3:00pm each day, with a one-hour lunch break
● Continental breakfast & lunch provided both days
Space is limited to 20 participants per weekend (with potential to expand to 30 depending on group sizes and ability levels).
Saturday’s from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Sunday’s 10:00 AM till 12:00 PM
Want to hit the slopes with your crew and actually work on your skills — not just follow the leader?
This 2-hour group lesson is designed for up to four friends or family members who want to improve together. Led by one of our experienced instructors, this session focuses on building confidence, refining technique, and improving your all-mountain riding.
Everyone in your group should already be comfortable riding the lift and navigating intermediate terrain. The lesson is paced to the group, with coaching and feedback throughout — so you can learn, progress, and enjoy the mountain as a team.
Cost: $300 for up to 4 people (lift tickets not included)
Requirements:
– Intermediate ability or above
– All participants must be at a similar skill level
– Please arrive 10 minutes early
– Not available on holidays
– Cancellations accepted up to 48 hours in advance
