Greetings from Londonderry,

While there hasn't been much cold weather for us to work with lately, as noted in our prior update, the signal for cold is moving in late Thanksgiving night and really gets going next week.

With that in mind, we are calling for our ski season to begin on Saturday 12/6 off the mid-mountain Green Chair! We've never had a full 24 hours of snowmaking temps yet, but there are a couple days next week where that will happen to get some real production in. We will get the system going late Thursday night for a few hours, then again on Friday Night, and also Saturday night before a Sunday warm-up. And then the cold really sets in next week and our team can hammer away. Saturday December 6th should be a fun day to get our ski legs under us and get back on the snow here with our diehard ski community.

But don't sleep on this holiday weekend as there will be some skiing nearby and we will have our Black Line Tavern season opening Black Friday Party for Season Pass and Throwback card holders, Freedom 4-Pack buyers, and our local community. There will be a bonfire and complimentary champagne toast to Ullr at 4pm on the deck followed by the Glenn Rocks Band hitting the BLT stage from 5-8pm. (Paul and I will be there at 4pm to answer any questions you may have as well.) Saturday also brings the fun with David Soltz playing from 3-6pm and a special Saturday SINGO from 7-9p. Our new Chef Dave and his kitchen team is ready with our winter menu and Mary Ellen and her BLT staff are ready-to-serve all those who believe in Magic!

The BLT will be open this weekend starting at 11am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

In closing, I'm so thankful to our dedicated staff for doing all they can to get us ready for ski season, especially with these less than ideal snowmaking windows. We are here to bring you the excitement, adventure, joy, fun and true fellowship that skiing Magic offers. And, we can't thank you enough for believing in the real difference Magic brings to skiers and riders. No crowds, no lines, just good times.

So this Thanksgiving we are truly grateful to be a part of your lives, whether for a couple of ski days or an entire season.

Keeping the soul in skiing,

Geoff
