Greetings from Londonderry,
All of us at Magic hope you are having a joyous holiday season and we look forward to spending some time together as we are open straight through from today until January 4th!
We had a nice Christmas Eve present with 5" of new snow and Santa may have left a hidden stocking stuffed with more snow for Saturday! For days this storm was mostly missing us completely, but the models have trended lately more north and east. Not a lot, but just enough to give us a decent shot at some storm edge banding that could deliver 4-8" overnight. On top of the prior snow, this could really help open more natural snow trails/gladed terrain this weekend!

Besides a little help from mother-nature, our snowmaking team has been full throttle at the summit getting Upper Magic Carpet to Medium to Sunshine Corner blown in so we can open the Red Chair to the top tomorrow at 8:30am! The team worked right through Christmas to give the gift of summit skiing. They will continue throughout the holiday week, after a brief warm up on Monday, to expand snowmaking trails.
