Magic loves weddings!
We've put considerable resources over the last few years to create a premiere wedding and event location with lots of beautiful options for couples to be as creative as they want. Margaret and Travis designed their wedding to take advantage of multiple locations from Sunshine Corner, to the T-Bar, the Alpen Deck, and the Tavern space for a wonderful celebration. Rave reviews from all on our service, food and locations! Thank you to all our staff for making their wedding day magical. And, thank you to the families for selecting Magic and we wish Margaret and Travis a life filled with love and happiness together.

More events are happening this weekend, with fall foliage getting more colorful a little earlier than last year. Should be near peak by next weekend as we begin running Green Chair to Sunshine Corner this Saturday from 11a-4p with live music (The Roadies), the grill and the bar going up there as well! Josh will be tending bar while yours truly will be grilling burger, dogs and brats.Event Info here. So come by, say hello, and I'd be happy to answer any questions about the upcoming season!

The Black Line Tavern will be open tonight with a Chicken Parmesan Sandwich special. The Tavern and deck will be closed both Friday Night and Saturday for wedding events. So after visiting us up at Sunshine Corner, please do not venture over the tavern or deck/lawn area. Thank you!

Friends of Magic Work Days
People come ski here for the laid-back, no stress, fun community vibe (oh, and the kick-ass terrain with no lines to get up there). And, many in our community like to give back and Magic has a long tradition of volunteer Work Days to help us clean and clear the best glade network in southern Vermont! The next 3 Saturdays we gather at the tent in the base area at 8:30 to head up the hill (this week we hit The Hallows glade), with our gloves, loppers and clippers (no chainsaws as we've already taken care of that work). Andrew Starr and Matt Cote will get us going and we hope to see you out there. Everyone gets a free lift ride up to Sunshine Corner for free lunch afterwards.

It's that time of year where the leaves change every day--it's a real feeling of transition, and a beautiful one up here in Vermont. But, what doesn't change is that every Fall we all prepare for our favorite season to come: Winter! This season of transition is bringing more love to our mountain with weddings, community volunteer work days, and the sharing of live music, liquid refreshment and hearty meals. The colors, the smells and the vibes all bring the sense that the snow is coming and our souls get ignited once again for the snow-filled days to come. While the leaves begin their colorful act of shedding and dying, it awakens the spirit of fellowship and adventure for winter skiing and riding. It's good to be alive!
