Greetings from Londonderry,


This Alpine Update will be a little briefer, as Mary Beth and I have need to head out to the airport to pick up our eldest who's returning from overseas after completing 10-Years of service in the US Army. We're so proud of him and are eager to welcome him back to America!


There is a lot going on the next few days, so want to give a rundown:


- Friday SINGO is back at 7pm as there are no weddings this weekend. Had a great one last weekend and congratulations to Zoe and Michael!

- Saturday 8:30am meet-up for Round 2 of "Friends of Magic Volunteer Day--all are welcome and the clearing glades will continue in The Hallows.


- Saturday 11-4pm Peak Foliage Lift Rides to Sunshine Corner with grill, bar, corn hole and live music by Tom Davidson supported by our friends at The Richards Group.


- Saturday 4-7pm features Jenny Porter on the Alpen Deck presented by The Sun Lodge

Season Passes have now entered Fall Pre-Season Sales pricing, saving $50 per pass on in-season rates. With October, we have also launched our Throwback Card which saves you money with every visit. In October the TB Card is only $99 and gets you $74 tickets all season long, and one free ski day. That's a 30% savings off our online ticket prices any day you come to Magic.


Speaking of day tickets, our annual pre-season ticket sale is also happening in our e-store.

One truly sad note from this past week is that our ski community lost a good friend way too early. We both mourn and celebrate the life of Scott LedDuke who leaves us with many great memories. We are thinking and praying for his wife Lisa and his wonderful daughters in this truly difficult time for the family. Let's lift them all up in our thoughts and prayers, and throughout this coming ski season. God bless, Scott and his family.

We will continue to keep every one posted on key snowmaking projects this month which will get us skiing and riding earlier here at Magic. We wish every one well as we get closer to ski season. Let's remember to treasure every moment together.
