Greetings from Londonderry,
While most of our hard-working crew gets some well-deserved time off after a very busy winter, the lift maintenance team has been non-stop with lift maintenance featuring annual haul rope testing, grip/hanger non-destructive testing and general maintenance.
Truly, we work the full-year round making sure Magic is ready-to-go safely each season. There's also lots of planning for summer events, with the restaurant and wedding venues spruced up for your visits, and new ski area/lodge capital expenditures to make your experience ever better.
Early Bird Season Pass Sales are off to a roaring start with passes running +7% over this same time period last April. As I said previously, we will closely monitor each pricing tier to insure we control pass holder growth to keep our ski experience uncrowded: "no lines, just good times".
April is a great time to buy with our no-interest pass payment plan spreading lower monthly payments out now over 8 months from April-November! Early Bird Tier 1 pricing also saves $100 per pass over Tier 2. Join our fun-loving ski community as a pass holder and make more ski friends!

Magic in the News: I touched base briefly with ski industry-commentator Stuart Winchester from the Storm Skiing Journal at the end of the season about another historic winter for us as an independent ski area--soon approaching our 10th year anniversary of buying and saving Magic from closure. In the face of industry dominance by Vail and Alterra, we purposefully led the charge over these last 10-years on the value of independent ski areas, like Magic's, and the unique ski experiences and culture we offer. With the help of the Indy Pass over the last few years, more and more skiers and riders are discovering (or re-discovering) what skiing was meant to be. As we said from the beginning of our journey, Magic is "where skiing still has its soul".

BLACK LINE TAVERN
Chef Dave, who came on board for the Winter ski season and did an excellent job, is excited to debut his new fresh summer menu when the Tavern officially re-opens on May 20th for the spring/summer/fall, with a Wednesday through Saturday schedule.
But he just can't wait until then to get started, so he is preparing a special Mother's Day brunch special, by reservation only, on May 10th from 10a-2p! The menu and invitation are below, and it will be a brunch truly deserving of Mom and the family. So join us for the special event!

As you know, Magic doesn't have huge bucks to spend on advertising. So the gains we make every year in skiers coming here is very much a "word-of-mouth" thing. The friends formed here are long-lasting and come naturally. Those who enjoy the fun, laid-back culture and intimate experience will bring others who are like-minded. So, thank you for keeping the same Magic vibe going, while also growing!
