Thanks to so many for spending time here last week celebrating 250 Years of Independence!
Thanks to so many for spending time here last week celebrating 250 Years of Independence!

Greetings from Londonderry,

The Glenn Rocks band and the fireworks show did not disappoint. A long show with so many "almost finales" and then a huge bombardment when it did eventually arrive! Special thanks to Susie Wyman for helping organize this display here at Magic!

The Black Line Tavern crew served so many folks inside at the Tavern, out on the Alpen Deck with the new Jamaica Cottage Shop Bar, and down below at the Snack Shack. Just a huge, happy and celebratory crowd for the 250th!

Special thanks to Oliver Automotive in Bennington (Ford) and Rutland (Subaru) for supporting local music.

We also had a fun time at the Londonderry 4th of July Parade with our Alpine Club youth athletes and Magic Mountain Ski Patrol joining in the parade and throwing out candy. Oliver and I manned the Magic Bus and enjoyed greeting so many parade goers. It's here in small towns, like Londonderry, where love of neighbors and country truly shine through in more intimate ways. Just proud to be a part of this caring community.

Huge turnout from MMSP and Alpine Club with lots of candy handed out! Thanks Jenny S for pictures!
