THE ALPINE UPDATE

Spring Storm

March 28 Quick Update: We will be open Friday-Sunday as scheduled, and we hope to see many of you back for Easter weekend! The weather looks beautiful with sunny skies and temps in the low-mid 40s. There has been considerable warming, showers, fog this week that has eaten away at the snow pack. But, we are good to go, just with a few less trails than Sunday. Those will be checked out Friday morning by patrol to give us an update, but it's back to spring skiing. Early morning hours on Friday, it does get below freezing and then Saturday Night it gets colder as well after  warmer day temps, so the snow should recycle into a nice fresh corn skiing and riding!

Thank you for being with us this past weekend for two big powder days, with no lines despite one of busier days due to both summit lifts running! More to come as we plan to stay open until April 7th with the possibility of another storm next week as well, Think snow and spring skiing! Discounted spring tickets are available online.

The Tavern will be open today for dinner, Friday SINGO, and then Mike McMann & Friends hits the BLT stage Saturday Night!

Winter storm heading into our area late tonight into Saturday night!

Greetings from Londonderry,

It's like someone booked their own mountain rental out there today with maybe 30 people enjoying our East Side groomed trails under sunny skies. By the weekend, there should be more as we have a winter storm rolling in later tonight.

Currently, the snow starts at around midnight and goes straight through as all snow until late morning. Then it may changeover to a wintry mix in the afternoon before changing back to all snow on Saturday night as the storm wraps up. Should be some good totals out of the storm which will allow more  trails to open back up, especially those all-naturals on the East Side and some on the West Side depending on snow totals. Should be a fun Saturday and Sunday of skiing and riding here! Get it while you still can...

Last weekend, we celebrated St Patrick's Day and painted the town Green, thanks to our ski patrol leprechauns! Our annual St Paddy's party, featuring our local favorite Saints & Liars, was jam-packed for the jamming! Thanks to all those who joined in the fun both on and off the slopes!

Mother-nature should be jamming this weekend as well, so now's the time to grab the goods before we close out the season and start work towards next winter season with our Black Line Quad now in full-service for no lines and more snowmaking earlier with our new pond repaired and ready-to-go plus more new energy-efficient snowmaking guns in action!

Our Magic staff hopes to see you and serve you this weekend.

Keeping the soul in skiing,
Geoff
